Hotel Centrale is located 164 feet from the main square of Poschiavo, in the heart of Borgo. It's strongly recommended to buy food from Lidl near Terano(Italy)or cooperative store near Poschiavo train station and enjoy your own cooking, which is more economical. It was a great idea to break up the Bernina Express ride with this overnight stay.

Very charming Old World town...cobblestone streets, village square, small but friendly population. Exceptional hotel, exceedingly well run, at the edge of a beautiful lake with the narrow gauge Swiss railway running just outside. Room was clean, spacious, comfortable bed, good breakfast with organic products. For the price for one night one does not expect to see breakfast included which was also a bonus.

Comfortable and clean rooms...very simple, nothing fancy but it was a good place to break up our trip through the alps. After our kids didn't finish their pasta, the owner kindly offered to keep it in the kitchen and warm up later (that evening they just served them fresh pasta!...but a kind gesture nonetheless).
