Tuttavia è tutto troppo facile all'inizio e Cora consiglia a Ratchet, Clank e gli altri di fare molta attenzione. L'équipe se sépare et sont attaqués par des Mr.Zurkons.

Une fois remis sur pied, le robot, renommé Clank par Ratchet, l'informe qu'il doit prévenir les Rangers de l'attaque imminente de Drek.

Une fois le film sorti, de nombreuses critiques s'accordent sur la globalement bonne qualité de l'interprétation de l'ensemble des comédiens mais pointent du doigt l'adaptation des dialogues et le manque de fidélité envers les termes français existants dans les jeux depuis quatorze ans.

Così Qwark, riluttante (avendo con stupore riconosciuto Ratchet) ma visto costrettosi a causa dell'entusiasmo della stampa e del pubblico, decide di far unire i due alla sua squadra, mentre Drek organizza assieme all'impacciato ed esuberante e anche comico robot Zed e al resto dei Blarg il suo prossimo bersaglio.

Ecoutant vraiment Elaris pour la première fois, ils modifient leur vaisseau amiral en y intégrant de multiples magnétiseurs. Drek, così come Victor, riesce a fuggire a bordo di una capsula di salvataggio, ma non Zed (lasciato indietro di proposito), il quale viene catturato dai Ranger, i quali, grazie ad un lungo interrogatorio e con una minaccia da parte di Cora, riescono a far rivelare a Zed il prossimo bersaglio di Drek, Novalis, un pianeta abitato.
